Why does it give a range instead of one wick?
Because one answer would be wrong most of the time. Fragrance oil, dye, vessel shape, and even the pour temperature all shift how a wick burns. WickFinder gives you a best match plus the size up and down so your first test round covers the realistic options.
Which wick series are included?
ECO, CD, LX, and Hemp, each with the rated melt-pool diameter for every size. Set the series you stock during onboarding.
How does wax type change the recommendation?
Each wax burns differently: paraffin carries more heat and needs a smaller wick than soy at the same diameter, while coconut and beeswax need adjusting the other way. WickFinder applies that correction before matching a size.
What should a good burn test look like?
A full melt pool reaching the vessel edge by hour two to four, a flame that stays steady around 25–40 mm, no soot, and minimal mushrooming. If you tunnel, go up a size; if the pool is too deep or the flame flickers, go down.
Does it work offline?
Yes — wick data, recommendations, and test logs are all on-device.
